Fire Exit Plans

SAFETY ACTIVITY: Check your fire extinguishers for annual tag and review your printed exit plans.  

SUPERVISORS: Make sure you have an Exit. Before using a fire extinguisher, make sure the fire is NOT between you and the exit if you plan on putting it out.   If you’ll be trapped if the fire doesn’t go out with the extinguisher, don’t try and put it out.  Exit the building and immediately call 911 for help. Do you know where your emergency assembly points are?  How will you account for your employees?
