Silica in Construction

SAFETY TOPIC: Silica in Construction - When we are working on new construction and renovation projects we need to be aware of airborne and physical contaminants that our employees may be exposed to. Cutting, grinding, or any activity that makes dust on materials that contain silica, such as rock, sand, stone, masonry, granite, or cement based products can expose our employees to silica.

SAFETY ACTIVITY: Review the new Silica Rule and watch Silica Safety Training Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQRLl3VrJZM
