Cover Holes + Guardrails

SAFETY TOPIC: Any hole, regardless of the distance of the fall, that a worker could fall through or into has to be covered by a cover that can hold twice the intended load (at least 200 pounds with a safety factor of four) that it is exposed to and says “hole” or “cover” on it. A guardrail 39-45" in height with a 1x6 mid rail and a 2x4 toe board can also guard holes.
