SAFETY ACTIVITY: Have a Forklift Rodeo.

Reference the Powered Industrial Truck Plan in your Accident Prevention Plan and highlight these topics:

1. Do not ride on motorized vehicles or equipment unless a proper seat is provided for each rider.

2. Use safety belts on equipment.

3. Always remain seated when riding in authorized equipment (unless they are designed for standing).

4. Do not operate any motorized vehicle or equipment unless you are specifically authorized to do so by your supervisor.

SUPERVISORS: Conduct forklift rodeo, schedule forklift certification training every 3 years.

FREQUENCY: Forklift Certification Training - 4 Hours (Every 3 years) This training can be combined with an Elevated Work Platform class.
