SAFETY TOPIC: Use a JHA form to determine if flaggers are needed on your job sites. If no work is done on public roadways, review in-house signals for backing up vehicles and equipment. NOTE: FLAGGER TRAINING - 8 Hours (esc.org) If flaggers are used on public roadways, they must have a flagger’s card from an accredited WA State Provider. If flaggers are used, they must use sign paddles. See WAC 296-155-305 (3). Wear ANSI Class III high visibility clothing while working with traffic or on roadways.
